love, love, LOVE all of your pieces!!! thanks for sharing kerry. your studio looks so cozy and fun with all the christmas lights up. makes me wish i had a really fun studio like that. what if you displayed your earrings on vintage tea cups or some sort of prop? just a thought. i always like it when people come up with creative ways to display things. i think i would be the most excited about designing my space for the show. my brain is already going and you are the one doing it. lol!
thanks Wendy!! hmmm... tea cups... cool thought, but i kinda got a whole grunge/grafiti frame thing going on. i was thinking maybe of getting moulding from lowes or home depot.
Thanks for the video, I enjoyed seeing your pieces and your lovely studio in the background. I know you I'll hav a great show with all that beautiful jewelry. You hav certainly worked hard for it! Jenni
Hey Kerry, Just speaking from experience when I display my earrings on cards they sell better. They are easier to see, and not such a busy look. Props are OK but sometimes less is more. Just my little ole opinion. I am just going to miss you. I am in Chicago at my sisters for Thanksgiving. Knock em dead kiddo.
oh,oh,oh! I'm so excited and terrified for you simultaneously. I'm glad you mentioned the investment because many times people don't realize the time and monetary investment that goes into preparing for a show of that magnitude!
I can't wait to see your booth and how you display it all! My dream for next year is to be in a place to apply for ACRE in Orlando...putting that out in the universe now!!!!
Kerry, what a cute video of you. :-) I really enjoyed it, like hanging out and going through all of your gorgeous jewelry together. Wow....200 plus one of a kind pieces of jewelry...YOU DID IT!
Wow that was so fun! I loved seeing the pieces on you it's a great idea. I think my Mom and I are going to try and make it to the show. I'll definitely be looking for you if we go.
It's funny you mention that you love the sound. Many of the pieces I make the sounds is as lovely as the piece and when I am out at shows selling I will mention that this or that piece makes a lovely sound and I often get that, You are a strange duck look.
