Color Palette Blog Walk - Leaf Love

When I saw my friend Brandi Hussey was hosting another Color Palette Blog Walk, I KNEW I had to take part!! Oh how I love me some color and as I spend day after day torching my brains out... OH how I could use some color inspiration.

For my palettes, I took photos from my recent Fall Walk for the Color Walk. Clever, yes? HA! No, more like I am up to my eyeballs in work and these are the most recent photos I've taken. But, I must say nature's beautiful changing leaves make for some pretty awesome color combos... wouldn't you agree?

leaf love 2

The second to last photo and color combination is definitely my favorite. I'll be pulling out glass rods to match those colors in the coming days, that's for sure! Thank you Brandi for hosting such a fun walk.

If you have the time, take a moment to visit the other Color Palette Blog Walkers. You are sure to see some lovely color eye candy.

Such wonderful colors Kerry! That 2nd to last one is my favorite too (giggled when I read your comment below the photos)… Something about those warm earthy pinks in the combo just melt me :)

Oh, Kerry, these are fantastic!

I think there is an incredible amount of inspiration to be gained from nature. I've been spending all day every day out on my back porch with my laptop, just so I can feel the breeze and see the sunshine. Plus, I'm a fan of your yearly Nature Walk! It's always exciting to see where you go and what you capture.

Thanks for sharing, and thanks for participating!

Wonderful picture! There is a website or program that we can use to take a picture and it automatically picks the colors from the palette. Do you have that link? Thank you.

It's so funny Kerri, I got to that next to the last leaf photo and thought, "wow, I love this one" and then got further down to your comments! Beautiful and very inspiring!

Your fall walk shots are just amazing. I love that tradition and wish that we had something like that. But of course, what I would love most is to have you there to shoot it because you have an incredible eye for composition! I love these fall pictures that remind me of the fleeting beauty of my favorite season of them all! I am really attracted to that red color in the last shot. So vibrant! Enjoy the day!

These are so wonderful! Yummy color indeed!! I like how you did the photos with the color block layout - wish I knew how to do that! (a bit of a techno challenged one, here!) Glad I'm taking your photo class! :)

Oh these really are wonderful! Love your photos, and the palettes - gorgeous. I especially like the last two with the pops of autumn colour coming through.

Those are all so pretty! Love that first one!

I love all these photos, Kerry! The second to the last one stopped me, because I don't usually think of autumn leaves as being pink and purple, but there it is! That's what I love about photography: it makes you focus, so you see things anew. I'm especially drawn to the colors in the last leaf. Wow!

Just absolutely lovely photos and palettes. The second to the last one is my favorite too because I love me some pink! And a walk in the woods in the fall...heavenly! Almost makes me want to move back to Colorado (I'm in Florida--no real fall colors here).
