If he weren't so cute, I would ring his neck...

bad cat 1

bad cat 5

There are a few things down in the old studio that still need packing up and moving. It is stuff that I don't really *need* at the new place, but, I don't have the heart to toss it either. I also don't really have the *time* to deal with it. (I have been trying to put together a bead update for you!) So, I had it all situated in this one little corner of the old studio. Rusty, my deaf white cat that is bigger than a small dog, is set on destroying it. We keep hearing horrific, loud crashes that make us fear an intruder has smashed a basement window and will be running up the back hall steps any moment to murder us. Then, we hear Rusty's unique deaf-cat meow and we know he is just wrecking things. I cleaned it up, He.Did.It.Again. So yeah, if he weren't so cute, I would ring his neck.

(ps, anyone interested in a dust pan of broken beads and Swarovski crystals? Grrrr....)

Oh boy, I bet you were cursing.

I used to make jewelry and our two cats had a knack of jumping up and sending everything flying . . . especially when I was working with seed beads. I know exactly what you mean about wanting to ring their necks if they weren't so cute.

Guess he's forcing you to take the time. Has he been snuggly after his rampages, at least?

@Lindsey, NO, he doesn't even snuggle after. he can be so rotten. he is so lucky i love him anyway.

Rusty really is cute...but...I can just imagine the choice words coming from you!!! :0)

Wonder what has Rusty's attention in that corner?

Cheers

Bad kitty!
That is too bad. Especially the broken bits. If there was a way to use them, I would try because that makes me sadder than you know.
Enjoy the day!

P.S. I thought you were going to be talking about a child who did this ;-)

I have often told my husband that if anyone broke in and tossed around the little cases of beads that i don't think I'd have the heart or willpower to pick it all up and sort it again, I'd have to just walk away in despair. Your cat's name should be "Lucky" having done it more then once and survived to tell the tale! LOL

My goodness! And I got upset last night with my Charlie when he took this sudden panic mega leap from outside and through the veranda door and used a tray with my latest beading project on as the bounce off platform for the next leap. Needless to say everything on it all went all over our living room. I was moody with him still in the morning, and he knew it. But seriously, that is nothing compared to what you show here. But prr prr, we can't help loving them, can we. Show us a picture please.

Oh.My.Word. Vacuum cleaner with a panty hose foot over the wand to collect the beads, shut the vacuum off with the wand over a bowl, bored child to sort......

Oh my gosh, he made a big mess! I feel your pain, my cat likes the way my wire moves and I don't know how he does it, but he manages to get the cover off the box and then trots around the house with a spool of wire in his mouth! They are very funny! :)

Wow! What a mischievous cat. I would love to take your dustpan full of broken bits and add their beauty to one of my mosaics! I have a hard time throwing away bits that took my time and creativity, so I know they are precious even in a broken state.
