Magnolia in Bloom

magnolia in bloom

It took some extra time this year for the blooms on my favorite tree to burst, but they finally did this weekend!

Lots of secret behind the scenes things are happening round these parts, so my apologies for my silence. I am sure things will right themselves and get back into their regular rhythm soon. Much like the magnolia blooms, it can't be rushed and you just gotta wait for it.

What a magnificent tree, Kerry. I really love those blooms as well. Here in VA the Dogwoods are blooming but are starting to fall off due to all of the rain.

What a beautiful tree! Our spring flowers took a bit longer to bloom than usual due to the wintery weather, but we are well into more summery blooms here on the south coast of the UK as it's been more like summer than spring here recently!

Reminds me of where I grew up. We had a big magnolia that only made it through the late frost some years. Beautiful picture and enjoy it!

What a lovely tree! I've always wanted a magnolia tree, but not sure how well they can take the harsh summer heat here.
