:: Jacob played in his first lacrosse tournament ever this past weekend!! He scored twice!! (Ran coast to coast from his defensive position to the shoot on other team.)
:: The team made it to the Championship game, but lost to a team called Six Nations.
:: I am one proud Momma.

:: the above is evidence of my stupidity... my boy had sunscreen on, I did not... I thought my long jeans and long sleeve shirt would save me (and my spf30 face cream didn't work).
:: LOL, just remembered something from our time in the car this weekend. Just Jacob and me for a total of 6 hours driving over two days... he said "Mom, let's talk", I say "okay, what do you want to talk about?", he says "lets talk about life and death." LOL
:: maybe you had to be there
:: note to self: don't laugh, it hurts your sunburn

ouch - apparently there is now 75 & 100spf... you may want to grab that... as a girl who grew up on the beach, i know how painful that can be... so happy for you proud mama with all of your weekend activities... i know what you mean about having the last week of school to work during... i have to run out for detergent but am trying to get some things complete... agh!
Ouch Kerry... I've been there, more times than I can count! I FEEL YOUR PAIN!! I know you'll think I'm crazy, but a little vinegar takes the sting out. You'll smell like a salad and probably be hungry all day but it does work if you're that uncomfortable. Feel better! :)
I can see why you are so proud of the boys!!! Congrats to Jacob on making that traveling lacrosse team and scoring TWO goals!!!
I feel for you with that major sunburn... it's been a while since I had one like that but believe me, I've been there. :-( Sorry I missed you today..it was one of those days when I was out of the house more than in. :-)
